Bob's Boots Review: Volume four of the unreleased basement tapes is not near the quality of the first couple of discs. Most likely the grounds for exclusion from any type of official release. The tracks here are an eclectic collection that run the gambit from somber to goofy. Throughout all, however, everyone seems to be lose and having a good time. A party atmosphere surrounds some of the tracks. Likely as not, "party favors" helped to influence the feel of some of the Basement recordings.
